Susan Sarandon to join Sanders in Mason City

Sen. Bernie Sanders will campaign in Mason City Wednesday afternoon.

That stop will directly follow a four-day campaign swing for the Vermont senator, who is running neck-and-neck in recent polls with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

On Wednesday, he will visit Mason City's Music Man Square, 308 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, for a 1 p.m. campaign event. Doors open at noon.

I'd take her endorsement over a big platoon of Hollywood stars collectively.

You know your support is in the right place when your candidate is attracting really solid people like Susan.
