Is there proof that Hillary actually spoke to Goldman Sachs ...

.. or did she just cash some checks from them?

If Clinton supporters can ask for photographic evidence of Bernie being at the March On Washington 52 years ago, then isn't it reasonable for us to ask for proof that Hillary earned that $675,000.00 paid to her from Goldman Sachs in the last few years?

Where are the transcripts? Videos? Photographs? Are we to believe that nobody had a picture taken with her? If so, were they ashamed to be seen with her? Was she ashamed to be seen with them?

I see it the same as the executive pay golden parachutes for pursuing "civil service" (read: regulatory agency) jobs. The AFL-CIO is fighting that. I hope they join the people in this fight as well.

"speaking fees" to our teenaged daughter in the car. She was sitting in the backseat listening to us try to explain it and she interrupted us and said, "So, that's pretty much a bribe?"

Even a fifteen year old understands.

So sick of being involved in conversations like this. Why do the Democrats even have people in their party who would behave like this? It's shameful.

And all of the rationalizations, justifications and jockeying for position--when it comes to being in bed with Wall Street and these powerful interests that are destroying our country. I'm just so done with Hillary Clinton and all of the other politicians who feign stupidity and act as if nothing is going on--while they have allowed these banksters and other corporate interests to buy our democracy.

If Hillary, DNC, third way et al don't take the bribes then they will all go to the republicans.

They want their piece of the pie to ensure the party endures and the proles get to keep their nostalgic illusions.

...there is a question of whether speaking fees received the same year he-or-she left office were anticipated and affected actions prior to retirement (Hillary Clinton received speaking fees from Goldman Sachs in 2013 after resigning as Secretary of State that year).

When someone goes from being the Secretary of State, to collecting speaking fees, to running for president, there is an even bigger question of corruption.

I believe Hillary stood up on a stage for 45 minutes or so and was paid nearly a quarter of a million dollars for it.

I just think it would be easier to prove that she did actually do that then to prove Bernie was in the March on Washington in 1963.

Sauce for the goose....

If the Clinton supporters are going to ask bat shit crazy questions about Bernie, then they can expect to be called out on it.

Not in the talk and I wasn't in the building, but a relative was working there that day and we were hanging around the pretty area outside with all of the boats and such. There was this big buzz because HRC was "in the building."

Don't know if that helps people trying to clarify things.

I'm sure she meets with them about other issues anyway--maybe about the Foundation--so it didn't necessarily have to do with her talks.

them all the world's money, knowing that there was a waiter or liberal client with a phone to record any such misstep.

She told them what she saw as the regulatory environment in the future, which is the reason environmental groups, teachers, unions, police/firefighters, nurses, physicians, hospitals, etc., pay politicians and other keynote speakers big bucks to appear. It attracts people to the gathering. Maybe some do consider the payments bribes. Others just say, hell if they'll pay me big bucks to tell them how I will regulate their industry, fine. I'll use it for better purposes.
