Thank Goodness For Television

Because Mitt, Paul, Portman and Rand Paul (ugh) are 7 miles away from me right now. I am down with the flu but I am mesmerized via the television.

I must admit, I've never seen such a small crowd for a presidential candidate. I am used to Obama, Clinton, Bushes, heck, even Dole. This is amazingly weird. The crowd is packed in like sardines but there aren't really that many people... ODD. Well, this is Dayton.

Good thing I have the flu or I would be on project in Michigan.

Back to this sitcom of a campaign.

It's been a while since I've listened to Ryan's little stump speech. He is still saying "Obama can't run on his record!" Well, strike me silly, what HAS the President been running on, pray tell?

I really am looking forward to the debates. Romney will be surprised when the REAL Obama shows up and not the papier mache model Fox News has built.

This is the big mistake of the Republicans. They erect a straw man President Obama and campaign against it. But Barack Obama is not that straw man and an increasing number of people are realizing this fact. It is why the opinion polls are showing this very fact. It is also why the Republicans have put up their own poll lying Web site.

They are in denial. And they think that this will help them. It is all about the denial of reality that President Obama is beating their butts.

Keep working, everybody. Let's all make this an election for the history books.
