Megan McCain on PoliticsNation didn't get the latest...

She is being a dizzy. She thinks Rmoney should focus on the economy.

Well...

Consumer Confidence in U.S. Rises to a Seven-Month High

Confidence among American consumers jumped more than forecast in September as a budding housing recovery and rising stock prices gave households reason to be more upbeat.

The Conference Board’s sentiment index increased to 70.3, the highest level in seven months, from 61.3 in August, figures from the New York-based private research group showed today. The reading exceeded the most optimistic projection of economists surveyed by Bloomberg. Another report showed home values rose by the most in two years.

Consumers felt better about their chances of landing a job soon and about the employment outlook over the next six months, today’s report showed, easing one of the impediments to the spending that accounts for 70 percent of the economy. The boost in confidence also comes just over a month before Americans go to the polls, giving President Barack Obama’s re-election prospects a lift.

Bloomberg

Megan... really? You think the economy is the path for Rmoney?

She's on Rev Al's show and insists that Romney's 47% statement was taken out of context. When the Rev asked her for the third time what the right content should have been, she snapped at him like a female canine and said: "Look! What do you want from me!"

I understand the appeal a few years back when she was pitching the need for Republicans to start taking more moderate views on social issues due to population demographics changing.

But now she's just putting out the same talking points any other right- leaning guest does.

Granted, I only see her appear on Al's or Rachel's shows now but the question remains as to why are they even scheduling her as a guest given she doesn't offer any insight to the issues.

Did you see her anger when the Rev refuted that Rmoney was taken out of context on the 47% remark? LOL Never saw her so pissed.

How can you take two minutes of video out of context when you play the forty minutes of surrounding tape too?

I thought she was supposed to be a smarty. I guess she's just a boob like her father. She really has nothing.

Her father is John McCain for gods sake - have you ever seen the rage that hides inside that man? She needs years of therapy just to look in the mirror without being filled with self hate.

I thought I was the only DUer who watches PoliticsNation. Usually I either hear about Rachel or Ed on this site!

But anyway, Meghan was dead wrong here. She knows that Romney is a jackass, yet she kept saying it was somehow "taken out of context". What more evidence do people need that he has no regard for working-class folk?

Then the first half of Hardball before switching to Jeopardy.

She isn't any smarter than Luke Russert. Both IMO are seriously briefed for the right responses. I've noticed that Luke doesn't appear to be on as much. Maybe they have him on when I don't watch. When was the last time that Meghan was on any of the MSNBC shows?

It's easy to spout off political memes. The difficult part is understanding and explaining it. And even though her (not a war hero IMO) daddy is a politician and maybe she was involved in some campaigns does not mean she knows squat about campaigns.

I would rank Abby Huntsman above Meghan in smarts.
