On Martin Bashir just now, 4 p.m. on MSNBC. "It's becoming increasingly hard for Romney to have a path to the electoral vote."
I just thought it was a purty thang to hear. And Martin kept going, "This is hard. Stop it, stop it."

(10,716 posts)We'll get the Senate, though I'd like to win ALL those close races.
The House would be SOOO wonderful to win. If not now, when?

(10,716 posts)and I know several of us who have already mailed in their ballots. It's a drop in the bucket, but many over here know it's an important election, and there's no way we want to be late with a vote.

(9,581 posts)did say that Roger Simon's piece at Politico was satire. For whatever that's worth. Either way, the damage has been done.

(39 posts)that is the reality.
A couple of well known current Dem Senators not up for reelection and are not known for being liberal or progressive but really good friends of the Koch Bros and their ilk will be more than happy to muck things up. They did it last time they will do it again.
Quality not Quantity is what matters.

(39 posts)Reality is more important from my POV.
We need to look at things in the long term not short term.
A reality based discussion would be how to minimize the impact of the non liberals and non progressives that are elected.
They will casue more problems then the GOP.

(31,240 posts)guest lineups are the best, and his sense of humor is hilarious. I don't know why MSNBC doesn't just rerun their daily shows on the weekend, instead of those horrible prison shows. It would be great, as a working person, to be able to catch up with some of the shows that don't repeat. PoliticsNation is also a staple in my household.

(14,933 posts)reruns of Ed, Martin, Rachel, Lawrence, etc, wouldn't draw in as many watchers, especially in election season!
I record all the shows starting at Martin through O'Donnell.. that's a great lineup !

(31,240 posts)hours of MSNBC Live, which runs from 2-5 pm, on Sat & Sun. I like the host, but he seems hellbent on being "balanced" (which I guess is admirable), but I sometimes wish he'd smack down the RW talking points a bit more effectively.

(56 posts)every Repuglican Congressman can head to a microphone and say "58% of my constituents have sent me here to blunt the policies of Obama."
So if the US elects a Repuglican House... doesn't the House have a "mandate" to pursue an anti-Obama/anti-America policy??
