2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWow, the Hillary crowd seems to have decided on a last-minute, all-out smear of Bernie! PATHETIC.
It really is disgraceful. I'm sorry, there is no excuse for this - I don't care how badly she and her crowd think she's the "better" candidate. If Hillary approved any of this, she really doesn't deserve the nomination.

(12,689 posts)Blacks are nothing but puppets to the oligarchs and the big banks and Wall Street and the Clintons.

(7,318 posts)While funny, it IS spot on.
You can be used, without necessarily being a puppet. Noone wants to be used, especially for political purposes, whether it's by the oligarchs, Clintons or anyone else. And, as it's been often pointed out on Black twitter and elsewhere, noone wants their vote taken for granted by any politician, especially not by Hillary who ran an incredibly ugly campaign against Obama in 2008. We have long memories...

(28,270 posts)The OP needs to look at msnbc and cnn. This isn't something Hillary people made up. Also read the outraged letter the union put out about this serious incedent.
I can't believe the Sanders campaign has gone to ground on this scandal. These people should be fired already and an apology issued.

Voters don't care if someone uses a logo (or a song).
His campaign will simply stop sending the mailers with the logo and that will be the end of that.

(18,402 posts)and a few threads pointing out Sanders' screwups today (the stage-managed black women, the illicit use of AARP logo--I won't even mention the current NYT article "Bernie Sanders Is Democrats Top Beneficiary of Outside Spending, Like it or Not," since I haven't seen anyone post it yet, probably for fear of mass bullying) plus one negative editorial, and they go berserk.
As we used to say as kids, they can dish it out, but they sure can't take it.

(14,177 posts)In a way I find it amusing. I wish that the behavior was confined to RWers then it would be hilarious. But, it's a bit off putting when people who claim to be in the fight for the public good and for the disenfranchised go out of their way to attack someone who has made it their passion in life. Well it doesn't take a genius to see that they really aren't about helping people.

So, what are they worried about this time?
