equal to ten million people voting in California. Figures are not exact, but people should get the point: the Electoral College decides who runs the country; not the voters.

How fair, right? If you don't live in a swing state, your vote means absolutely nothing, and that works both ways. For democrats in Mississippi. For republicans in New York.

If the the democrats were smart, they'd take up this issue and go after some sort of reform. When the conservatives chant "down with big guvment," there's a reason the chant works. But it's not that people dislike government, because if you tell people all the things that government does, people realize that they actually like a lot of the government. It's the scumbag politicians that people don't like when they start chanting "down with big guvment."

The dems could steal this whole issue from the conservatives, but they could do it through reforms to the government (like term limits, and the abovementioned). Oh well... too bad dem politicians suck.

politicians can "suck" in all ways, and the blackboxes will reward them anyway.

The people are supposed to BE the government, but without actual votes, they're merely enslaved.
