Hillary's Warm Up Band Members Told Guardian They're Voting for Bernie

Her warm-up band however was made up of four young men, who told reporters that while they were undecided as caucus-goers, they were inclined to favor Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination.

Two days before the state will hold the first nominating contest of 2016, this embodied in many ways Clinton’s predicament: a struggle to resonate, particularly with young voters who have been drawn to Sanders in droves.

Though he said he is no Sanders confidant, Takeyh called the Vermonter thoughtful on the subject of the Iran nuclear deal. Takeyh opposed the deal, but Sanders called him anyway. "He wanted to hear different perspectives. He demonstrated command of the topic," Takeyh said.

I voted for Humphrey. When you are a starving musician you play for whoever pays you. I did feel a little sleazy.

I worked in the music biz for many years, and know that a paying gig is a paying gig. And sometimes the exposure one gets in a situation like this can lead to more paying gigs.

I can't believe anyone thought this was a worthwhile "news" story. It's about as relevant as saying the bartender at a Republican cocktail party is actually - OMG! Stop the presses! - a Democrat!

Musicians are paid to provide music - not to provide a political statement, or reflect agreement with a political agenda.

I thought everyone KNEW that - but apparently not.
