(27,815 posts)I worked in the music biz for many years, and know that a paying gig is a paying gig. And sometimes the exposure one gets in a situation like this can lead to more paying gigs.
I can't believe anyone thought this was a worthwhile "news" story. It's about as relevant as saying the bartender at a Republican cocktail party is actually - OMG! Stop the presses! - a Democrat!
Musicians are paid to provide music - not to provide a political statement, or reflect agreement with a political agenda.
I thought everyone KNEW that - but apparently not.
