Imagine if each time Bernie supporters raise $10 million, a plutocrat plunks down the same for Hill.

Aside from it being absolutely disgusting and wrong, almost enough to induce nausea in some of us, I would hope that it would motivate *all* of us to do more than donate money, but to get active and convince our family and friends why money in politics needs to end once and for all, and why we need to support only people 100% committed to this idea.

Struggling working people or disabled or elderly people to whom $10 is real money, scraping to send a little Bernie's way, and then some affluent bastard drops multiple millions on Hillary.

Of course, Bernie is going to find better ways to spend their money for them. And I highly approve of that also.

That's the thing. Even the very wealthy benefit from having a more equitable society. The more money the people have to spend equals more money spent on Amazon, restaurants, movie theaters, etc.

7. I hope so. But this time around we have a chance to end the madness, once and for all time.

We may like to think that better ideas will always win out, and that money can't buy elections, but let's not be naïve. Rich people wouldn't give money to campaigns if it didn't work most of the time.

Only ground game can beat that kind of donor.
