Bill DeBlasio is a wonderful spokesperson for Hillary!

He is so positive and articulate about why Hillary is the best choice for America at this point in time. I do believe this man, who is relatively young, has a bright future in the Democratic Party. I know NY City really needs him, but he would make an awesome VP choice too.

to Mayor DeBlasio!

I have to admit, I never thought about that.

Conspicuously refused to participate in state party's mass endorsement of Clinton last year.

Abruptly saw the ... ahem... light, a few weeks ago.

Philosophically , he been much closer to Sanders. I had thought that he was just afraid of retaliation from the state party, with which he's clashed in the past.

But perhaps there's a method to his madness.

The "madness" is he likes and supports her. I guess the madness is expressing those views.

As her campaign manager.

I don't know whom he supported in 2008 vs. Obama.

What would the mayor of New York add to a democratic ticket? Pretty sure securing New York would be the least of any democratic nominee's concerns. The running mate will be from the south, or Hispanic,... or both.

I lose track, I admit.

You can't have two people from the same state as a ticket.

Either way, she's not picking him.

She does move around a lot. In more ways than one. But her residence is currently in uber-upscale Chappaqua.

He may THINK she is; or MIGHT.

Especially a "lock" blue state with a ton of EVs. It's one of the foundations you build the house to 270 on.

Besides, DeBlasio isn't even popular in NYC right now.

to be on the ticket with Chimpy the Texas "rancher". Cheney actually lived in Texas at that time posing as a Halliburton executive.

Cheney originally was from Wyoming, but hadn't lived there for years. As soon as he decided that W was too much of a lightweight to do the job on his own, Cheney had to do something drastic, and the phony last-minute residence move was the path of least resistance.

At one time, I thought that Martin O'Malley might be a "logical" choice ... but although Maryland is technically "Mid-Atlantic" region, I'm sure that many would consider it to be (incorrectly) "the North".

Her VP choice will have to be a combination of many things: Their qualifications to be a "heartbeat away". Strategic appeal (whether gender, ethnic, or regional). And their political philosophy ... will it mesh well with Hillary's vision? Will they get along and make a great team?

That would be a very difficult and tricky choice to make. But I'm confident that Hillary's up to the challenge!

Go, Hillary!
