ACTUALLY the croci MAY be coming out, used to do so early February! I'm away from home (for a few more days) due to big snow, it's finally melted, so will look for them when I return.

I get that's an exaggeration, but it's always so nice to see the little croci blades peeking out here, in DC area, in February! This is a funny year, we hardly have had winter BUT FOR recent snowzilla, Jan. 22>, and there's still a mess of it (now DIRTY) in suburb I'm visiting.

And look what's gonna happen in April!

Actually here in upstate Ny today it was rather ridiculously warm for Feb1st. I wouldn't be surprised to see all kinds of foliage beginning. Hopefully if they do they won't get frozen when the temp. plummets again as it is sure to do. I think it will get cold again. Maybe.

I am glad it is not beastly cold.

Caucuses blooming in the mud in my western Washington yard today. Or something. Snowdrops maybe.

The smelt should be coming up the river any day now; I've got my eyes out for the eagles that will be here to greet them. I'm a Raven guy myself, but Eagle went way up in my estimation after seeing that gif of Trump.
