If someone is up by less than a half point, no once should be declared the winner yet


If this were a regular national election determining the winner on such a close race might take days. If a News channel is declaring someone the winner now that is unethical and meant to give them a boost. Less than or equal to .5% usually automatically triggers a recount.

they've pretty much split the delegates, so this is all spin spin spin. That said, I'd probably be happy if the numbers were a hair in Sanders favor, so I shouldn't be too critical.

And Andy Card announced the results with the major networks agreeing with the White House's "right" to determine who had won the election!

Of course the stakes are not that high about the Iowa race - it means very little in the long scheme of things.

But the fact that Sanders ran so tightly against Hillary should make her very very nervous.
