A REALLY GOOD summary of Sarah Palin's CPAC speech

Sarah Palin Speaks For Free And CPAC Still Gets Ripped Off

Sarah Palin finally hit rock bottom and accepted an invitation to speak for free at CPAC, and her address was a combination of lies about Obama and bitterness over 2008.

The CPAC crowd was hot for Sarah Palin, but what they got were canned lines about Obama wanting to raise taxes and redistribute wealth, and the whining of faded failed vice-presidential candidate.

Palin claimed that Obama’s jobs plan was losing America, and she touted the Republican jobs plan, which I kid you not is, “the free market.”

Palin also spoke out against regulations for Wall Street, and claimed that Obama caused the financial crisis. Sister Sarah flashed back to 2008 to revive Obama’s comment about bitter people and their guns. The uneducated Palin claimed that Obama has forgotten the Bill Of Rights, but she is going to defend it.

IS AMERICA BECOMING A FASCIST THEOCRACY?

In the early 1950's there was something called McCarthyism--something that every red-blooded republican ascribed to and still does. Senator Joe McCarthy had his finger pointing at anyone and everyone who did not agree with him and accused them of being communists.Never had so many people been accused of something, or anything, in which not one single person was guilty of. Because of McCarthy, the fear of Communism spread right to the top of our government, including the Pentagon. So, ten thousand miles away we embroiled ourselves in Viet Nam in 1953, because Viet Nam would infect us with their toxic communist ideology. The democratic congress refused to continue to fund the war and saved tens of thousands of American lives and most likely a million Vietnamese lives; however, the republicans became hysterically critical of the end of the war to this day, even though there is now reciprocal trade and tourism with Viet Nam. But the republicans were not through with the scare. In 1983 Reagan invaded Grenada. His rationale, ''there are a few hundred communist Cubans'' on a tiny island with a population of one hundred thousand, neglecting the 10 million Cubans in Cuba. The ''scare America with the communist threat again'' was alive and effective. The war didn't last long--about two weeks. Seven years later the Soviet Union collapsed and the communist fear was gone.
Ahh, but not so fast, because it's still here. There is a black man in the white house, so here come the commie accusations. First, Obama is not a citizen. Then, Obama is not a Christian. Eventually, Obama is a socialist, which leads to Obama is a communist, and ultimately Obama is a Marxist. Let me say this about republicans: I have never met a republican who could articulate the difference between Karl Marx and Groucho Marx (cheap shot, but true). I have never met a republican who could give you the definition of the word ''soviet'' even after more than 60 years of Soviet hatred, and that's a fact (it's ok, you can go to your dictionaries), yet the republicans continue to accuse people of something they know nothing about. Many years ago, people thought that Marxism was some kind of sick ideology, and it was and still is, but because of Reagan, with his ''keep government out of our lives, and trickle down economics'' (which allowed CEO compensation to rise from about 40 times their low end worker to about 400 times; and George W. who continued Reagan's policies, and lying to scare America into war), America has been on a slow boat to fascism when the Supreme Court, with a 5 to 4 conservative majority, installed a couple of turbo-jets to that boat, and rocketed America to a legitimate fascist state. Now, with Citizens United, anyone can donate any amount of money anonymously. Even the four remaining republican intellectual midgets have complained about the super-pacs. What the republicans have done was to elevate Karl Marx's nearly dead ideology to a revitalized prophecy, because some of what Marx wrote about capitalism in 1848 is now coming true.
Marx wrote that in a capitalist state ''the rich get richer and the poor get poorer''--never before, but now yes; just think about the 1% and the 99% and what that is all about. He wrote about the ''Disappearance of the Middle Class'' where big business is pushing little business out of business (oil companies to super markets to department stores to banks to casinos, etc.). Marx advocated ''class struggle'' and ''temporary dictatorship of the proletariat'' which is what OCCUPY WALL STREET is unwittingly about, though I doubt 90% of them know anything about Marx. He wrote ''capitalist crises'' where people at the top amass so much wealth that what they purchase is limited to only a few items which will eventually cause a depression. Three weeks ago a billionaire said exactly that on CNN. He said ''I've got three cars, and that's all I need, and that's what's wrong with America." To me, one of the most frightening of all is this: ''religion is the opiate of the people'', whereby the capitalists will use religion to keep people thinking about a happy life in the hereafter, so that they forget their miserable existence here on earth. He was wrong about that. It's not the capitalists; it's the republicans who use religion like a sledgehammer--''There's a war on God'', ''anti-evolution'', ''Under God'' in the Pledge of Allegiance, ''oppose embryonic stem-cell research'', ''Personhood Amendment''--any female who agrees with ''Personhood'' is both stupid and insane. Republicans are succeeding in turning America into a fascist theocracy.
You want corporate influence? Here it is: A couple of lobbyists meet with some republican congressmen. They represent the Pizza lobby. ''Listen, gentlemen, we need you to do something about selling pizza in public schools. We don't care what you do, just do it."
''Ok, we'll declare pizza a vegetable."
Pizza guys, ''Fine, but how can we get away with that?''
Congressmen, ''Are you kidding? Remember what George Bernard Shaw said, 'A 100% American is 99% idiot.' Well, he was wrong by one percent. He made that statement after the Skopes trial and meant it for conservatives.''
Two weeks ago, CNN and ABC reported that two legally blind women were treated with embryonic stem-cells and now have some vision. When Michael J. Fox spoke up for embryonic stem-cell research, he was ridiculed by Rush Limbaugh. Republicans now hate Michael J.Fox, especially one friend of mine in Florida and one in California. I wonder if they become afflicted with a macular disease if they'd ask for a stem-cell treatment. I doubt it. They'd rather go blind than resist conservative ideology.
Let's get to the top leading republican candidates for President, Romney and Gingrich. Romney said Obama was wrong to bail out the auto industry, knowing that GM is now profitable and once again the largest car-maker in the world. He said that if he is President, Fidel Castro will be gone. How's he going to do that? He said he wants to bomb Iran. He said he wants to put the troops back in Iraq. He said Obama made the economy worse. He can say anything crazy or stupid, because he wears magic underwear (blessed garments) which will protect him from intellectual attacks. Gingrich said that all Palestinians are terrorists. I know people who say that all republicans are stupid. They are wrong, but close to the truth.
President Obama has class, intellect, integrity, and courage. He saved this country from a great depression with the bail-outs of the banks and auto industry. Thanks, Obama. He ordered the killings of Osama bin Laden and his generals. Thanks, Obama. He killed the pirates at sea, and the kidnappers in Somalia. Thanks, Obama. The stock market has doubled in the last three years because corporate profits and revenues are rising. Once again, thanks, Obama. And thanks again for keeping religion out of our lives.
After reading this, you may get the impression that I am a democrat or a liberal. I'm not, I belong to the ANTI-STUPID PARTY. There are millions of us out there, so get on board.

It's entertaining enough, but you find yourself mouthing along with the lyrics and daydreaming about something else. Unfortunately, her nasal cracking voice is like hearing it on a cheap radio with a ripped speaker.

I guess for the aging dinosaurs attending CPAC the greatest hits never get old.
