You're spot-on with your use of "propaganda".

Did you catch those graphics? short little ones...a bible morphed into Mein Kompf, a crucifix morphed into a sword and a brick came through a church window.

To be a perfect fit for today's GOP those scenes would be more like a science book morphing into a bible and an independent woman morphing into a housewife in the kitchen, naturally, with a couple of kids in the background, a baby on her hip and a swollen belly. Throw in a few scenes of various religious houses of worship morphing into Christian churches, maybe show Democracy Now! graphic morphing into Theocracy Now! and that ought to about do it.
