"SNIP............................................

Across most of the presidential battleground states, particularly in the Midwest, President Obama’s lead rests on a surprisingly strong performance among blue-collar white women who usually tilt toward the GOP.

1. Because that's where he has made his case

It sucks that a "national" election is conducted in only 20% of the states, and that excludes most of the biggest states. But it is fortunate that's how it worked out this year with all the Citizen's United money.

Had Obama needed to make his case on a wider basis, and if he had enough money to do so, he would be leading in just about any state except maybe MS, AL, TX, OK, TN, WV, or LA.

Most glaringly and ridiculously under reported is the fact that they don't like Mormons and many tend to over look the difference between the LDS FLDS. The latter being the abusive polygamists. They see a crazed FLDS polygamist twinkle in Romney's eyes. Not that he is an FLDS, but many see that.

7. And if they were curious enough to google why George Romney was born in Mexico...

They'd feel very justified in seeing that twinkle, even if it's a couple of generations removed.

6. The so-called "waitress moms" this year are the story, supposedly

and not the "soccer moms" anymore. I think ALL the moms (and potential moms) are sick of the GOP's assault on women.

"Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" by Mitt Romney.

I think the ACA tends to disproportionately swing the female vote also.

Finally, "legitimate rape" and reproductive health stumbles have hurt the GOP.

Ain't that a B. You know that's gotta burn more than a few Repugs. Oh I love it. I love it. Sometimes I really
do think Obama is playing 11 dimensional chess...
