at least here in NY. They call it electioneering, and it is prohibited within 100 feet of the polling place.

I was a precinct 'watcher' and a child (with his father) had a campaign sign in the
actual voting area. I put a stop to that...

for cheating us out of our votes. You know like the I voted sticker just plunk one on you say a block from the place. All Bernie supporters walk that way to their cars. I'm fed up with us taking this voter theft every year. We need to stand up to this theft.

What is the law for? Doesn't the MSM do polling afterwards to some who come out. What is the reasoning for the law. I think that if we just keep going with the status quo our votes will continue to be stolen. If everything was transparent it would not happen. Why are people thinking it stupid to tell who you voted for after the fact to protect the votes. They can't steal them electronically or manually if everyone knows who voted for who and how many voted for who. Just not understanding. Perhaps someone can explain this "law". Voting should be transparent.

in which candidates or party workers may not electioneer. You have to remove or cover buttons, shirts, etc when you pass that line. When you go to the polls, people are standing just outside the boundary to press leaflets, flyers, etc on you for their favored candidate or proposition. Low level candidates may still be there pressing the flesh.

After you vote, you are suppose to pass the boundary going out to redisplay your shirt, buttons, etc. The OP proposal is OK if they wait till they pass the boundary to do it. I believe the exit pollsters also have to saty outside the boundary.
