2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary is a tough-as-nails brilliant PROGRESSIVE FIGHTER with a spine of steel.
I won't go through the long litany of Hillary's PROGRESSIVE positions and accomplishments. They are well known and indisputable.
The right wing is afraid of her, and SHOULD be. They know she is the MOST qualified candidate all the way around on either side. (I really like Bernie, but he is shallow on foreign policy and in some other areas as well.)
She is also one hell of s steel spined FIGHTER who will pummel the living shit out of whatever RePuke she would have to run against.
I LOVE that about her. I am sick and tired of spineless weakling Dems who want to hold hands with RePukes and think they can sing Kumbaya with them. She will kick the shit out of them.

(26,366 posts)that want to set up bi-partisan commissions with Republicans to decide on things like what to do with
social security?
OBAMA: That commission raised the retirement age, and also raised the payroll tax. So Sen. Clinton cant have it both ways.

Flipping from saying she's centrist to progressive, depending on the audience, anyone?
But hey, in the last 2 years, she has "evolved" for gay marriage & against charter schools. And she will definitely FIGHT for unions & the right to organize & to raise minimum wage....cough, cough...
I wonder if her arm gets tired. You know, holding her finger up to see which way the wind is blowing has GOT to get tiring. But she's getting a lot of $$$ from industries to say the right thing to get elected & to govern for them if successful. That's some good motivation to keep up the arm & the sham.

(13,616 posts)and so apparently do Hillary's own words.
I have been in Washington, as you know, in and out, for a while. I can see how things get done, and I know how much effort it takes to try to find that common ground, Clinton said on MTP Daily.
From day one, thats exactly what Ill be looking to do, she added.
Fighter indeed.
