2016 Postmortem

Here's the way I see all this shaking out. Hillary, and her baggage: The Iraq war vote, her vote for the bankruptcy bill, the video where she's all exited about all the money to be made from Iraq oil. Her going full bore against single payer. Bill Clinton and his no more welfare as we know it bill, which only made the numbers go down because of throwing many poor people off the welfare rolls. ( this one makes me sick) all her money from wall street, for profit prison industry, big pharma etc. In my view these things alone are enough to disqualify her because they are piles of shit. You can spin those anyway you want, put sprinkles on them, add some whip cream, they are still shit piles. You can't spin bad. You try and make it look okay but you can't. With Bernie, it's not about him, it never was. It's about his policies. Most people in the country, most people, like his policy ideas. Not just dems, progressives, independents, republicans, all of them like most of his policies. His ideas are not coming from a shit pile so they don't need sprinkles or whip cream or even a cherry on top. So, that's my take. Ive been watching Bernie over 10 years and Ive always hoped more people could hear his ideas and now they are. The harder they try and take him down I believe will only make him stronger and will energize a huge turnout next November. Of course this is just my opinion but that my take. Fire away

(11,802 posts)Like I said before, I think the attack ads that the GOP throw at him will actually help him. They'll be a huge weekly illustration of one of the key aspects of Bernie's campaign.
