I've been driving for about 8 hours today canvassing in NH and I'm a bit tired. Thanks for picking that up.

After a day of walking through 8" of snow my socks are drying by the heater.

Today was much better, lots of doors, lots of people, and LOTS of folks out for Rubio, go figure.

Kasich too. We were in Durham today.

But I was very surprised and disappointed by the Steinem comment. I didn't expect to hear something like that from her.

She said it was ok to kill all those Iraqi kids to meet an ends. Probably because they were Arab who she viewed as less than human.

Temptation doesn't know boundaries. Look at the Catholic Church. There is an epidemic of distrust in all our institutions. I'm surprised a lot of mainstream democrats haven't caught on yet or think their leader is immune.

Attempting to explain why younger women went for Sanders. Her conclusion was that they were being tricked by the media and didn't really understand the details of Sanders' proposals. Further, she postulated that these women are in what she called their "cute and little" phase and they just naturally follow men in that phase. I found it bizarre, although it is obviously the same school of thought from which the Steinem quote springs.

Not being young or female, I am looking from afar, but I can't see how this kind of rhetoric isn't insulting to young women.
