REC if you TRULY BELIEVE the Republican Candidates Are Terrifying.

Seriously, would you give them the key to your house and trust them to water your house plants while on vacation?

Would your house still be standing when you returned?

Discuss.

I think it's counterproductive.

So no, I won't "Rec," because I don't truly believe the Republican candidates are terrifying.

Mind-boggling, bat-shit crazy? Yes. Terrifying? No. It makes me furious that our propaganda machine has allowed so many people to be conditioned to believe what they say.

They are fury-inducing, to be sure.

Happily, I don't have to be worried about a GE win for them...yet. I'm supporting a strong, vibrant candidate generating positive energy for change across the nation, and he also has great crossover appeal. He'll beat any of them in the GE, as polls consistently show.

Should my party not nominate him, THEN I'll be worried. Not terrified, but worried, because the other candidate doesn't generate that crossover appeal, and does generate enough hate from Republicans to galvanize a large turnout to defeat her.

If that happens, Democrats have only themselves to blame.

Would I trust them with a house key? Of course not.

Which is why I'm hoping the person who polls best against them - Bernie - will be chosen in the primary, and not Hillary who turns off so many Dem voters that she could lose even against those clowns.

Praise the deity of your choice (or not, as pleases you).

Personally, I cannot financially afford to watch their debates - my wallet starts opening for the Democrats....

This thread is intended to remind everyone that the temporary division in our party is TEMPORARY. It was inspired by this thread http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511165436 with the hope that it would remind people that regardless of which Democratic candidate one prefers, the Republicans are Not a Viable Option.

I am a Bernie supporter. I still prefer Hillary over any of those whackadoodles in the GOP. The more they talk, the less sane people like them.

Does that make sense?

it was more than I could stand before I had to shut it off.
Bush is an idiot but at least exhibits a bit of folksy "charm."

But with Rubio, when he speaks it sends shivers down my spine, no charm at all just scary.
Not just the things he says but the way he says it, this guy is truly frightening.

Edit: It was Rubio not Cruz got them mixed up. I haven't heard Cruz speak yet.
