2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumJust found out my younger brother is for Trump.
Somewhere along the way he has become more conservative and focused on security both financial and National. He is also really sick of career politicians.
Oddly enough, we still have a lot in common as to what we'd like to see achieved: infrastructure improvement, jobs, an improved Healthcare system, less pork in the DoD and overall, so I tried to make my case for my guy (Bernie,) but he still prefers Trump.
Maybe we'll get lucky and Trump won't win the nomination? *crossing fingers*

(1,415 posts)that should Trump be the nominee, he may win... against either of our candidates..... more than likely he loses but he may pull out a win... the senate may go blue or may not.. the house will stay red.... i think this election season nothing can be taken for granted...

(50,278 posts)I don't think he's come out with one solid policy yet, just the fence paid by Mexicans and that the country is going to be "terrific" again. Yesterday I spotted a couple getting out of a car with a Carson bumper sticker and it was all I could do not to ask them if they were out of their minds.
