I love Rubio is unravelling, but....

Can't stand this guy. His talking points about Obama are hideous. He is basically making the argument Obama is Manchurian candidate and he is trying to get the nativist vote. Glad he is shown to be the lightweight he is.

But my fear now is that this opens the door to establishment going in all for someone like Christie or Kasich. These two are much better general candidates and would be favored to win if they come out. I fear they can do much more damage than someone like Trump. They give off the appearance of being moderate, but they are just as right wing as any other candidates, and would enact exact same policies.

All these candidates are horrible, but I was hoping the establishment vote would be divided, and someone like Trump would come out on top. I was not expecting candidates like Bush/Rubio to flame out so early lol

...from what I have read from many of you here on DU, you say it is just that - talk. And that he is just as extreme as the rest of them, but masks it better.

I agree about Kasich being formidable but as a NJ resident, even Republicans here have come to hate him. He's easily defeated by whoever is out candidate.

He had one bad debate., Dont exaggerate it. He's still the favorite. And he will be tough in the GE. He actually is good debater and speaker, and he has the potential to get a lot of Latino votes. He could win.
