I know Sen Sanders went to NY to be on SNL and Im going to Flint to see if we can help with the kids

Hillary Clinton told a New York Time reporter that Bernie Sanders went to NYC to do SNL over the weekend, while she was in Flint to help with the water crisis poisoning.

Amy Chozick ?@amychozick 10m10 minutes ago
"I know Sen. Sanders went to New York to be on ‘SNL' and I'm going to Flint to see if we can help with the kids," @HillaryClinton said.

https://twitter.com/amychozick/status/696458950754045953

Edit- Earlier I said this would become a bigger issue. The optics makes Sanders detour to NYC just look bad in comparison to Hillary Clinton's visit to Flint. http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511157231

There is a tragedy occurring every day for citizens everywhere that can be exploited for political gain. Flint's situation is horrific and an example of what happens when elected officials are bought and paid for by private interests. Tomorrow it will be another city. Maybe it will be poisoning from fracking. Maybe it will be an injustice perpetrated by a for profit private prison system. Who knows? Just know there will be some politician mliking it for political gain woke not actually solving any problems.

Giving speeches or useless advice, instead
of ordering 10,000 bottles of water for them?

I know that if Bernie had been asked to come,
he would not have made it a media event to

I actually don't care that he went to be on SNL. But I do know that if Bernie had gone to Flint this weekend and Hillary had gone to be on SNL, Bernie's fans would have used it to show how little she cares and how much he cares.

Remember that Bernie's appearance on SNL was probably planned in advance.

And although they could have filled the space with something else, I believe he takes his commitments seriously.

Now, what I do care about is the kind of threatening and insulting comments some of Hillary's surrogates have been spewing.

Following the boys, rings of hell-fire.

Yea, now that is presidential material.

And I am not a "Bernie fan"

I am a Bernie Sanders supporter.

While Hillary beholdens herself to the Banksters… and obfuscates the real issues… although now I am doubting that she even has a clue what the real issues are for ordinary americans.

On edit: I don't now believe that distasteful tweet came from Clinton herself, but a supporter.

I think it's great that she's there drawing attention to the crisis. I just don't think she should be using it for political points because that would be really cruddy. Her supporters probably shouldn't be doing that either.

Like pick up a shovel to help lay a new water main? Donate $100 million to replace house pipes and faucets? If so, I'd be impressed. But this is Hillary, the bar must be set low...she's probably going to use some black people as props for a photo-op. Anything more would be "doing something".

She clearly has no shame.

If she were doing it solely for the people of Flint she wouldn't have made that comment. Remember when Bernie met the family of Sandra Bland's family? He didn't go tweeting about it to exploit it for political gain. Because he doesn't use people and tragedies in an attempt to get himself closer to the White House.

Plus, did she forget she went on SNL while this was happening in Flint? While a lot of other terrible things were (and still are) happening? She is guaranteeing her own loss by being such dirty player of politics and a terrible one at that. No wonder the establishment is afraid she is blowing this campaign.
