In foreign policy spat, Sanders suggests Madeleine Albright supported Iraq invasion. "Mostly false."

Sanders said, "Tell me what Madeleine Albright’s position was on the War in Iraq. ... I wouldn’t be surprised if she supported that war."

While Albright has voiced support for the troops and said she understands the rationale behind the war, her comments suggest she would have rather avoided the invasion.

We rate Sanders’ claim Mostly False.

Talk about having reserved a special place in hell. The angel of death needs to keep her pie hole shut until she makes the world a better place by leaving it.

Sanders :"Tell me what Madeleine Albright’s position was on the War in Iraq. ... I wouldn’t be surprised if she supported that war."

Neither would I. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure she lined up with all the other Iraq bashers in knee jerk support of a false invasion of a nation based on lies and deception. But that is "realpolitik" and "the big picture", isn't it? Just like flying the coffins in late at night so nobody could take pictures of how many US soldiers were dying as a result of Bush/Cheney's war crimes.

When the towers came down Wes Clark claimed he was approached by administration contacts pressing him to join the chorus blaming it all on Saddam. It is convenient, being able to forget things like that. Some of us don't find it all that easy, though, just like a lot of us old guys can't forget how many of our friends and schoolmates died in the 'Nam.

All so Goldman Sachs and friends can feel free to rip off the whole nation.

Politifact thinks the thing about Albright was Mostly False? Well, under the bus they go.

Nor did she say a fucking word against the war in the run up to the invasion.
