(58,785 posts)with him and what he wants to achieve for our country -- or not. And he has rather famously had little patience with or time to waste on those who are not.
To date, no minority voting block has declared itself "with" him and his revolution. Blacks, for instance, are currently involved with one of their own, one that Bernie has expressed little interest in furthering at this time as he feels his own revolution would "lift all boats." All this has resulted in a disconnect between Bernie and the minority support any Democratic candidate needs (and really should have).
Note that Bernie's leftist revolution basically rejects any cooperation with liberal and conservative solutions. Most minorities, like most whites, are moderate liberal to moderate conservative. Most states have sizable minority group populations who largely tend to vote their particular interests in blocks -- and who expect the people who want their vote to support THEIR issues.
Get it? Bernie has minority-voter problems and needs to fix them. If he can.

People should complain to the DNC about this, and ask that at least one racially diverse state be moved up to be first, or at least second.
Nevada is the third primary/caucus and I don't think it's very diverse either, though North Carolina, up soon, does have a lot of African-Americans. You would think with the high percentage of Latinos nationwide, there should be a state with a lot of Latinos in the early lineup.
