Related: About this forumThe Bernie Sanders Momentum Has Arrived In New Hampshire
NASHUA, N.H.A CNN/WMUR tracking poll released last night puts Bernie Sanders up 26 points over Hillary Clinton among likely Democratic voters in the New Hampshire primary. Nate Silvers FiveThirtyEight says the Vermont senator has a greater than 99 percent chance of winning today.
Sanders spent Monday warning his supporters against complacency and trying to control expectations. I think were going to do just fine tomorrow, he said, before stressing the importance of turnout. Concluding his stump speech at Daniel Webster College here, Sanders framed the primary as being about much more than who wins New Hampshire. He described it as a test of whether the political revolution hes running on is possible.
Meanwhile, the Clinton campaign aggressively pre-spun the expected loss. Her aides say it should not be surprising he would win a state that neighbors Vermont and that is overwhelmingly white. Highlighting polls that have her down more than 20 points, Clintons team is laying the groundwork to spin a storyline that she exceeded expectations and closed the gap in the final days. Theyll also talk about how shes running a national campaign and cite her decision to spend Sunday in Flint, Mich.
Sanders supporters see what the other side is doing, and theyre mad about it. Several told me they are nervous that the corporate media and pundit class will not give Bernie the credit he deserves for a victory. They are already frustrated that much of the coverage does not recall how far hes come since getting into the race and by how many stories dismiss his plans as unrealistic.

(35,015 posts)1. Even if Bernie wins by 20 points, Hillary's peeps will spin, spin, spin.
No matter, a decisive win in New Hampshire will only strengthen Bernie's momentum. I am cautiously optimistic for a decisive win tonight.

(11,945 posts)3. I found this very telling:
Theyll also talk about how shes running a national campaign and cite her decision to spend Sunday in Flint, Mich.
... thereby admitting that Hillary's Flint foray was 100% political -- which we knew it was, but cool that they come out and admit it.
