2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumYouTube will be the downfall of Hillary
Literally.
There is so much stuff on there about Hillary, in her own WORDS and then some which will have a dramatic effect on her campaign. The internet NEVER forgets and what is posted online stays online forever.
Right now, this very second, there are tons of people looking up and watching clips of Hillary. Think about it. There is no other source anywhere that allows one to access everything you can imagine from a candidates past. When it comes to Hillary, the dirty laundry will be televised. Bernie on the other hand? You find videos of him fighting for American's. Hardly a thing in negative light.
In the age of cord cutting and ROKU's, this will be have a dramatic impact on things.
Here are a few gems that people may not know about.
Immigration. OUCH!
This one is just damming

(3,133 posts)Why do people on a political board whine about the truth????? Suck it up. I hope this post doesn't get removed. If they try, I hope you get a different jury!

I called it Hillary why are you lying?

(5,761 posts)and people may not like my answer but a lot of times, people dislike the truth because it's not what they WANT to hear. Many have a made up in their head image of how a candidate is, heck I'll be the first to admit that at times I have done that but everybody has skeletons, some however have a cemetery.

(20,234 posts)or the title of the video. But I don't think a jury can take you out for picking a direct quote of hers and using it as a signature. That way people who like the quote and her will continue to support her, people who don't like the quote or her will confirm that she's not their ideal candidate, and some people may find that the quote creates cognitive dissonance.

(5,614 posts)The PTB may be scum, largely, but they are smart scum. There is a reason so many of the establishment has come running to her support and its because they all know that a Sanders presidency will threaten all the comfortable adjustments and arrangements they have made over the years.
The Internet is one of the key tools we have to "rock the boat." You can be sure things will turn against us plebes using it as soon as the Clintonians take over.

There are the perks you get when you are the establishment.
I am sick of the Bush family.
I am sick of the Clinton family.
They have destroyed this country.

(25,270 posts)to different people for their vote. YouTube and the Internet will out any politician that lies and flip-flops. They will be held accountable.
YouTube and the Internet will spawn a new breed of politicians that run for office with integrity and truth. Those that are running for office because they want to serve WE THE PEOPLE and want to better this country.
If anything - this primary to pick nominee's for both Parties and the general election to pick the next President will be a watershed election that throws out all the old ways of campaigning and welcomes in a new era of campaigning - a more positive - stick to the issues campaigning.
THE PEOPLE are getting smarter and will not be conned anymore.

(1,145 posts)Hillary or her campaign are even aware that much of her footage is out there and easily accessed (I'm just assuming they don't know because I wouldn't think they'd invest so much time in lying, but I could be wrong lol).
I think what annoys me most about Hillary and her campaign is that they really think we're just plain stupid, that we common folk don't know what's best for us and that her social clique (Albright, Kissinger, Steinem, etc.) is supposed to lead for us. Every times she lies (like saying she's a progressive), she's insulting our intelligence and that's offensive to me.

(12,647 posts)I forget who the DUer was that did the split screen video of Bush in the classroom and the trade centers being hit, but he inspired me to learn how to create political videos as well. I guess it would be safe to say we were the first generation to participate in this new frontier for political activists. It's a great way to get a message out to the masses...all of my videos combined have over half a million viewers.
The new artists today have honed their skills so well and they are killing it with their message. I'm so impressed by them.

Those people will get what they deserve from Hillary for their blind support...problem is, so will everyone else if she gets her way.

(5,213 posts)To Hillaryites, the constant lies don't matter. Voting for the Iraq war doesn't matter. Racist dog whistles against Obama doesn't matter. Buddying up to Henry Kissenger doesn't matter. A cesspool of Goldman money doesn't matter. Political expedient flip flipping doesn't matter. Yet they claim they are Democrats.

(5,204 posts)No Youtube, not much social media. Sure a few people can post on some political board on the Internet, but most people get their news from corporate media. It's a good year for establishment politics. The 21st century hasn't been good for her running for President.
