Huffington Post: No President has won a contested New Hampshire primary in 28 years!

Bad news for Bernie. New Hampshire has a poor record recently when it comes to picking the eventual president in a contested primary.

2012: Obama won the presidency, uncontested in the primary

2008: Obama won the presidency, Hillary won the primary

2004: Bush won the presidency, uncontested in the primary

2000: Bush won the presidency, McCain won the primary

1996: Clinton won the presidency, uncontested in the primary

1992: Clinton won the presidency, Paul Tsongas won the primary

1988: Bush won the presidency and the primary.

You have to go back to 1988!

…because they're convinced she's entitled to the Presidency.

I remember, the night she lost the Iowa caucuses to Obama in 2008, her supporters posting that the results of the primaries and caucuses didn't matter, because Hillary had enough superdelegates already committed to her that her nomination was inevitable, no matter how many contests Obama won.

I knew this loss was coming... but I was still kinda hoping for a surprise win anyway.

Oh well.

The first two states were tailor-made for Bernie. The rest will be quite a challenge for him as he discovers what the makeup of the REST of America is like.

So... congratulations to Bernie, the candidate (but not his Berniebro fans, ugh.)

Super Tuesday isn't that far away... even though it will seem like an eternity, it will be here soon enough.
