(45,488 posts)It is best for the Democrats if someone different wins the GOP primary in each contest.
Let it be divided as long as possible with them taking pot shots at each other. Let their side get more internally viscous and self-damaging. Let them spend cash attacking each other and creating entertaining ads attacking each other. Let them go to their convention with no clear winner and allow America to eat buckets of popcorn while watching their dysfunction on prime time tv. That is my wish.

(502 posts)They will all stay in so Trump can't get a clear majority to win the nomination. Then comes a brokered convention and JEB! as the nominee.

(11,802 posts)Christy - We'll be seeing his rather rotund backside tomorrow.
Carson - He's just trying to sell books #1. I believe he may also be jockeying to be the "cool" black guy on Fox News(I know, I know. But since he'd be the only black guy at Fox, he's automatically the cool black guy)
Fiorina - Stays in as long as possible. Jockeying for VP slot. Gives GOP chance to deny war on women. Bonus, gives Madeline Albright someone to vote for if Sanders wins the nom.
Peace

Fiorina was playing at being a candidate from the beginning... is probably done.

(35,619 posts)His speech tonight resembled a concession speech, and he said that he'll make an announcement tomorrow after all the votes have been counted and he finds out whether he was fifth or sixth in NH.
Even if he came in fifth, I doubt he'll see a path to victory.
