2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumPresident Trump. President Cruz. President Rubio. President Bush.
If you cannot imagine having to see one of those names. Or hear it spoken, or read it, then remember when all this in-fighting is over we have to get back together. So I urge all of you, keep your eye on the prize, cut the snark as much as possible, please don't insult the other candidate or their supporters, and pledge to support the Democrat no matter who wins. I will.

If you want to win the general, elect a candidate who can win the general, not one who causes many Dems and Indies to proclaim they can't ever vote for that candidate. You're being told NOW that there is one candidate that many people will NOT vote for in the general. If you hand the nomination to that candidate, chances of losing the GE are much higher. And the ones to blame will be the ones who demanded that that candidate had to be the nominee, rather than the one that most people say they'd vote for even if not their preferred person.

issues that clearly matter to Independent voters, and which can more clearly define our party.
