What does it take to get a moderator that actually controls the debates?

I was disappointed in Jim Lehrer last night. I expected him to be in charge, but instead it was more of the same - especially Romney - ignoring the time limits and blathering on and on like he owned the place.

I want to see something like warning lights clearly visible to all parties, and if the person speaking continues more than 10 seconds after the red light appears, their microphone goes dead.

I'm tired of the crap. Why even have a moderator if they're going to let the candidates do as they please?
