2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhy do so many folks think Hillary has the minority vote locked down?
She did not even win a majority of woman voters in NH.
I am just asking politely. Not trying to start a flame war.

(278 posts)I dunno, days and days and more days of the MSM pounding to the beat of the Clinton Campaign claiming that all AAs are going to vote for her, and then the MSM repeating it over and over like some sort of Jedi mind trick

(30,250 posts)who took the time to explain to Sanders' supporters why they support Hillary over Sanders?
Is this what you call people who support a different candidate than yours? That says more about you than it says about them.

(38,613 posts)It's what I call sycophants. Nowhere did I equate that with EVERY Clinton supporter, so please stop lying about my words.

(35,015 posts)Hillary enjoys popularity with minorities because of Bill; she's riding on his coattails. The Clinton Machine is pushing this, as an attempt to get Obama's minority supporters that she lost 8 years ago.

(2,620 posts)a succinct explanation as to why HRC's "social" policies would benefit POC - over Bernie's "class" policies?
thx

(22,271 posts)though her numbers seem to be stagnant, and even going down in some areas while Bernie's numbers are going up with PoC. However, re polling, she's been doing push polling which is designed to skew results in whatever way the pollster want it to go.

(30,250 posts)But more minorities support Hillary than support Sanders. The Clintons have had decades of involvement with Latinos and AA. When Hillary was at Yale, she took Bill to TX and they spent the summer registering Hispanic voters. They have had AA and Hispanics in their respective staffs for many years. I can name at the top of my head several people who are close to Hillary, such as Maggie Williams and Cheryl Mills. Not just AA and Hispanics, Huma Abedin, is an American Muslim who has been her right hand person since the 90s. The Clintons practice inclusivity, not just talk about it.
It's telling that Sanders' first point of order after winning in NH was to meet this morning with Al Sharpton.
