Greg Sargent flags a striking finding in the new Pew Research poll:
In November, Mitt Romney was beating President Obama among independent voters, 53% to 41%. Now those numbers are upside down: Obama tops Romney among them, 51% to 42%. That's a net 19 point swing of independents in Obama's direction in three months.

(30,439 posts)and tearing down your opponents with negative ads. Almost 100% of his ads in Florida were negative. Rmoney has shown no hesitation to use these tactics funded by millions of dollars in Wall Street money. He also stashes his money away in foreign bank accounts to avoid paying taxes.
Independents see this and they begin fleeing. Rmoney is now a broken and tainted candidate.
