In watching TV coverage of NH GOP primary, I saw a woman in her mid-sixties interviewed.

She stated she'd voted for Romney, but didn't really care which Republican was selected to run. "The important thing," she said, with eyes nearly slitted and teeth nearly clenched, "is to get rid of this Obama! I'll vote for anyone who runs against him!"

Add this too-common atttitude to McConnell's oft-repeated "highest priority" and explain, please, how anyone can seriously believe that bipartisanship is anything more than a media talking point.
