If Sanders can't "lecture" the President, none of us can speak up

Last edited Fri Feb 12, 2016, 12:11 AM - Edit history (4)

Unbelievable. Any citizen has the free speech right to say the President is wrong, not progressive enough, or what have you. Yet the response I hear today on the news is that Bernie Sanders has no right to "lecture" (critique, really) the President. This is a very undemocratic statement.

Of course Sanders does have a right to lecture and critique, everyone does. The critique could be wrong possibly, but he surely has the right to critique President Obama.

On edit: the source is Hillary's press secretary Brian E. Fallon in a tweet.

I am watching MSNBC and reacted to a quote on that. Will try to find a link if anyone has posted it.

That said, I think my point would also stand alone. I'm not alleging it was a Hillary supporter or anyone in particular who said it, just that it was said.

[div]"The idea of Bernie Sanders, (blah blah) giving leadership lectures to President Obama is absurd." https://twitter.com/brianefallon/status/697816477899083776. This is fundamentally undemocratic.
Or maybe this link will work https://twitter.com/brianefallon/status/697816477899083776?s=03 that was Hillary press secretary tweet.

He could have been one of the great ones but he was too busy trying to get the republicans to like him
