DSCC Ad Slams Mourdock: ‘The Rich Get Richer — While Our Kids Pay The Price’
Democrats are continuing to hammer Republican nominee Richard Mourdock in the Indiana Senate race, where his victory from the right in the GOP primary over longtime Sen. Richard Lugar has created a toss-up campaign.
An ad launched Friday by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee shows video of Mourdock from April: "In my plan I specifically started by eliminating the Department of Education."
"That means no federal college loans," the ad says. "No Pell Grants. More than $5 billion less for Indiana schools and students. Mourdock then wants another big tax cut for millionaires. The rich get richer — while our kids pay the price."
