(1,642 posts)the fighting can be fun.
But, unfortunately, people put a lot of their own egos into choosing a candidate.
And, often, the choice is more an emotional thing rather than being based on facts and issues.
The problem with the fighting is that it makes it harder to come together to unite under a single candidate.
I'm for Bernie. Hillary supporters are my brothers and sisters, albeit slightly misguided.

(55,981 posts)Those of us that are sick and tired of the super-rich Establishment running our Party see this as a war for the Party. This isn't a tennis match where the winner and loser have martinis afterwards. The corrupt culture of the existing Big Money influencing our Party leaders has to go. Maybe you didn't notice that DWS just threw gasoline on the fire and is now taking money directly for the DNC from the crooked-assed billionaires to insure that Progressives don't hurt their bottom line.
The current culture of Big Money in politics is literally killing people. We have the worst infant mortality rate of all modern nations thanks to those that put the profits of Goldman-Sachs ahead of children's lives.
