PBS much better @ debates than Fox, CNBC, CNN, etc.

I was surprised by the difference in tone and questions at the PBS debate. Public policy seemed to be the focus rather than an endless questions designed to embarrass candidates on personal character issues and thinly veiled attempts to have candidates attack each other. I get so sick of "Nobody likes you" questions and "Tell so and so why they're wrong" questions.

It felt like an actual serious discussion of public policy issues instead of a pilot for a reality TV show.

How much lower can they lower the bar? Politics in general really pisses me off but media focus on politics is even worse. It's all horse race and scandal and we don't care about issues.
My POV is vastly different from the general population because I do not consume corporate news media. Never have, never will.
Petroleum Broadcasting System is no better than the corporate owned alphabet soup of disinformation channels.
They're only better because it takes longer to activate your gag reflex.

But PBS did put on a dignified debate. Especially when compared to the hot mess that was Fox and CNBC debates.
