Hillary Clinton unveils ‘economic revitalization plan’

Last edited Sat Feb 13, 2016, 01:55 PM - Edit history (1)

" Clinton’s plan, which targets communities such as Bamberg County, includes $50 billion to create new jobs and $20 billion for programs designed to put young unemployed people back to work.

She described the effort as based on a similar initiative proposed by U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., which takes 10 percent of the money that would be spent on infrastructure and allots it to the 20 percent of communities that have lived with continued poverty rates for more than 30 years. "

A couple of things.

Doesn't this look like something Sanders supports? Those that are trying to say that Sanders only cares about solving the economic problems should look at this. This is Clinton's solution and it's economic.

Another thing is that she wants to build on what Obama has done which is not much. She is critical of Sanders that says Obama hasn't done enough. 50,000,000 living in poverty don't think Obama has done a thing.

Where does she plan to get the money for her plan? Not from the wealthy. Look in mirror and see who she wants to pay.

Even if I did believe her, which I don't, just another weak sauce, tone deaf attempt to appear to be a populist.
