Until we can do away with racism, sexism, and gender discrimination let them eat cake.

Last edited Sat Feb 13, 2016, 12:21 AM - Edit history (2)

So we'll continue to let the crooks feed at the public trough and rip off Americans, redistributing wealth upward until we can resolve all these other issues....

Do you realize how seriously screwed up this is?

If the economy was rigged in favor of the 99%, I'd bet they'd fix the situation pretty darn quick.

Note: This is the game they have been playing for years. Ignore the fact that we have a corrupt system where the rich get richer, the middle class disappears and the poor get poorer and just focus on the issues we want you to focus on.

Ending oppression is your standard for candidates, she's your candidate. How was that a function of her goal to end oppression? How could a person who opposes oppression favor discriminatory laws against minorities?

You waving your hand and saying you don't hold it against them does not address my questions to you in the least.

And by the way, which are you? LGB or T?

about but you refused to explain why Hillary's years of opposing marriage equality served that goal. Or why that is so insignificant to you when it is Hillary when you are making it tantamount for Bernie. Bernie Sanders never spoke or acted against the rights of anyone. Hillary has. It strikes me as two sets of rules, one for Hillary who can advocate oppression and discrimination without criticism, and for Bernie who must solve all of it or speak of nothing else.

I offer that you are the person who brought the LGBT thing to the table. If you don't want to talk about it, don't act like you already own it, maybe? If you can mention it, so can I.

And to be family, you have to respond respectfully to questions instead of slapping backs with others about how heartfelt your post is. You made assertions, got challenged and did not respond. So polite? Look up the meaning of the word.

To recap, of the two candidates only one has spent 20 years objecting to marriage equality and that's the candidate for you because what is important to you is ending discrimination and oppression and that makes sense to you, but not to me.

... who are marginalized have to fight.

Its more than just thoughts or "isms" it's structure and whole freakin industries who are part of the oppression with the backing of whole or part of the US government on state or federal levels.

Keep thinking what you want to think hear?

Blacks, women, Hispanics and gays... the "others" aren't for Hillary cause we dislike "revolution".

... think about other people.

Hopefully you don't either cause that's not achievable or even practical, people gonna think what they want to think... humans are gong to have their "isms"

People who are marginalized HISTORICALLY (so now we're talking about facts) want the state to make sure the people who marginalize (or in most cases usually the majority population of humans) aren't using said thoughts or "isms" as a justification to keep up with their crappy ACTIONS... not just thoughts or racism, sexism, ... ism isms

You being a part of the marginalized doesn't change that...

I marched in San Francisco with Harvey Milk. I was gay bashed with a baseball bat in th 1980s. I was an AIDS activist and counselor in the 1980s and 1990s. I managed a gay Mental Health program in the 90s into the 2000s. Presently I counsel heroin addicts. All of these efforts for indigent people. My grandchildren are mixed. It takes money to run programs and a fighter to get the money. I was and am for Hillary
