If it is true, I doubt that it is conscious. His ego just may not let him accept the role of being the first "First Man" in the White House after being president. I can't really blame him for that. It is a very strange position to find oneself in.

6. Indeed. Also, if he is failing in health and/or mentally...even more so. Very strange, to be sure.

8 more years in the spotlight could be unnerving...and affect his own legacy...at least in his own mind.

Bill has political instincts that Hillary just doesn't have. She's the smarter of the 2 but she doesn't have the self-reflection IMO to know that it's slipping away from her.

If she had run in 2004 she would have won, if only because social media was not the monolith it is today. Youtube, twitter, and Facebook alone has changed the way campaigns are run and the last people who seem to understand that are Hillary and her campaign.

When anybody compares his presidency to Obama's, he will try to maximize his accomplishments and minimize Obama's.

If they were to regain the Whitehouse, the tear down of the Obama legacy would begin. On that I would bet money.

Who knows what is really going on between those two, Hillary and Bill?

But it is very difficult to imagine that there are some real heavy duty emotional issues there.

For the same type reasons I never want Shrub to become president, I don't want Hillary to be president.
Besides all of the serious responsibilities of the job, do we need someone, anyone who is also carrying all of that interpersonal relationship stuff with them that will undoubtedly affect their decision-making?

Like Shrub wanting to get Saddam because Saddam tried to kill his dad.
Would Hillary become rigidly moralistic because of the Monica scandal? Would she have to be tougher than Bill because he failed to get bin Laden?

Keep this family crap out of the White House.
