2016 is starting to remind me of a phrase that used to be common....

The Politics of Personal Destruction.

The whole mood has become so sour that I think ultimately, many people are going to just say the hell with it. More of the same old crap. Score another round for cynicism and imposed apathy.

The only possible salvation might be if the GOP's own version of it might do the same to their voters.

If this tone keeps up, there may be five people who vote in November.

Is a complete rejection of both parties and the power they hold over the US political system.

The Democrats and GOP both know this, which is why they are throwing the kitchen sink at the 2 candidates that are outside each one's power grasp.

This election will be as pivotal to the country going forward, even more so than 1968 IMO.

The ugliness will get much, much worse the ones who can least afford to bear it.
