However I checked DU about 45 min. in and switched the TV on to see what was going on. I probably caught one of those times that Romney played "me too" to rattle Obama's response. "Me too" is like the time he said his plan guaranteed insurance to pre-existing conditions too. Obama was ready to debate and defend health care not prove his opponent plan didn't include the "me too" so all he could do was fight astonishment.

In short Romney's team counted on Obama being prepared to discuss Romney's short comings so they decided to have Romney be Obama wherever there would be a problem arising from Obama's discussion of the Romney truth. I call that "me too". What could Obama do; 1) compliment Romney on adopting Obama's plan components 2) accuse Romney of lieing or 3) pretend Romney didn't interrupt with the sabotage and state Romney's policy for him? Note Lehrer wouldn't have let Obama do 3) as far as I can tell.
