Morning Joe: "Barack Obama has been a great president"

attn: mods....
Yes, this is about the nomination contest between Clinton & Sanders

So, seriously, Morning Joe, in order to make an attack on Clinton, plays concern troll and says Clinton's attacks on Obama (no really, that's what he calls it) are making him sad. The money quote comes at the 1:18 mark in this video

http://www.msnbc.com/morning-joe/watch/joe-clinton-s-week-just-went-from-bad-to-worse-621688899682

For everyone who thinks Clinton represents the power establishment, please wake up. They hate her because she will NOT knuckle under to their agenda. Sure, I'm still supporting Bernie. But the idea that Clinton is the enemy of progress is absolute lunacy.

Republican tools will say anything to disrupt Democratic unity, truth be damned. Please, fellow Bernie supporters, quit doing the Republicans' heavy lifting for them. Quit attacking Clinton like she won't be an ally to the working class. She may not do what we like or the way we like, but she is eons ahead of any Republican and, frankly, in the feisty world of politics, not that far behind Bernie as a second choice for the White House.

If she wins the nomination, tho I hope she won't, if she wins I will fight like hell for her to be president.

If your candidate wins, I will stand alongside you to fight like hell for him to win. Until then, I will hope that Hillary wins, because I prefer her, and I will defend her against the ridiculous attacks on her that I see here every day. But, like you, I know that the real enemy of progress is the GOP, and that the differences between Bernie and Hillary are nothing in comparison.

if it were the other way around, Hillary wouldn't hesitate to make hay from an investigation into Bernie.

Bernie is helping the Democratic Establishment pretend that the FBI situation doesn't exist. It will be a massive problem in the general election regardless of how tired Bernie is of hearing about her emails.

if he stays true to his values for the next year and is reasonable about his speaking fees, etc. after he leaves office. Be a Jimmy Carter.

There are many factions within establishment politics. The Clintons are an integral part of many of them. Neoliberal economics, neocon foreign policy, with a sprinkling of social justice sensitivity for the Democratic base, just enough to get elected.

There is always a lot of sniping and arguing between different establishment factions. Don't mistake that for someone being on our side of the issues that matter. The Clintons are the finest triangulators I have ever seen, and it is the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party they triangulate against, while passing policy to benefit their donors.

another disagreed, but disagreed politely. That's the sign of a grown up website. I doubt a let's-all-get-along post in a Republican forum right now would enjoy such lopsided consanguinity

I came here to vent about the WV legislature overriding the governor's veto and making WV a "right to work" state (god, that phrase is such bullshit), knowing that it would be a hot topic among my DU breatheren.

But what do I find? A bunch of histrionic posts about Hillary that are as bad as anything I see from Republicans on Facebook. I am one of the few truly undecided folks - I loved Obama from the get-go and pounded the pavements for him (twice), okay with either Clinton or Sanders this time around. That's right, I know I'll probably get banned, but I'll say it: I'm okay with either of them.

As soon as I logged back in, I was randomly selected for jury duty, and it was to adjudicate about a post likening Hillary Clinton to Hitler. You heard that right - Hitler. I'm relieved that cooler heads prevailed and the post was hidden, but still. WTF, people? What happened to this place? How did it become the "Go Bernie, Hillary is Satan Underground?"

it in no way represents humanity in general. There are islands of decency and intelligence here on DU. Just not in the Primaries forum.
