2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumMy favorite paragraph so far from Bernie's book. I think he wrote this in 1996. Still singing that
same old song.
"My political opponents in Vermont often accuse me of being boring, of hammering away at the same themes. Theyre probably right. It has never made sense to me, then or now, that a tiny clique of people should have incredible wealth and power while most people have none. Justice is not a complicated concept, nor a new idea. Tragically, most politicians do not talk about the most serious issues facing our country, or the real causes of our problems. So I do. Over and over again. This drives the media and my opponents a bit crazy, but most Vermonters seem to appreciate that I address the issues most relevant to their lives. And should we ever achieve economic and social justice in this country I promise that Ill write some new speeches."
I can't wait for Bernie to write some new speeches! How about you guys?

..theme that is the cause and root of all the other issues, it's really the only thing to talk about.
"Economic and social justice" says it allcovers racism and income disparity.
Please all go see Michael Moore's new film, "Where To Invade Next".
It's hugely relevant and really uncovers the way money has corrupted all our institutionsincluding the modern slave labor in our prisons. A must see movie. It will focus you and even change you.
