The death of Justice Scalia is a strong reminder to all of us of what is at stake in this election!!

We are a passionate bunch here on DU. We care about our country, and we support our candidate wholeheartedly. But let us never forget what is at stake here. In the end, we must ensure that the Democratic candidate wins in the general election -- whether Bernie or Hillary. I have a preference and it is Bernie Sanders, but I will do all I can to make sure that a Republican does not win the White House. And if Bernie doesn't win the primary, I will throw my passion and support behind Hillary. We cannot allow a Republican to win. Especially, not any of the goons they have running in this election.

Either Democratic candidate's nominations would be light years ahead of any GOP nominee.

Light years.
