This is and is not about Scalia

This is about the fact that we now need a new Supreme Court judge, because an even tie in the court is never going to see anything accomplished, especially controversial issues that are divided by party.

Obama is not going to be allowed to nominate and confirm a new justice in his last year. I sincerely believe this. The republican dominated congress will not allow it.

That makes it all the more important that we put a democrat in the White House in 2016, but not just any Democrat. We need a progressive Democrat that will put a truly progressive judge on the court.

This makes it even more important than it was before that we help Bernie win this race. He has promised he will not put a judge in the court who will uphold Citizen's United if challenged. That's not all he will try to do if appointing a new judge.

Please consider how serious this is when making your mind up about whether or not you are going to vote in the general, regardless of who wins the primary...but for now especially...help GOTV so Bernie can win this primary, and then go on to win the general.

This makes it a critical decision from the starting gate, because whomever wins POTUS in 2016 will most likely be replacing Scalia and maybe more judges in the next four to eight years.
