About republicans using Sanders as a red piņata

Every day on DU we're treated to concern about Bernie's electability. Usually, in the form of red-baiting psychological projection over red-baiting. The concerned admonish us "Republicans will beat the stuffing out of Sanders on this, how will Bernie answer?...". The answer is us. Our steadfast support of our ideals, and resolve to not fall prey to the same old shit. It won't matter what fearmongering is issued from republican pie holes if we don't buy into it. Republican rhetoric will fall on deaf ears because, as we're learning from this remarkable campaign, more Americans agree with Bernie than fear him.

...that's not the concern. America will...

If Bernie gets the nomination, I trust he will have a strategy for responding to the charges. I think he's defined Socialist Democrat well and should continue... also stating we have had socialist programs since FDR. I'd overuse the term - own it and make it less scary.

The response will come in the form of millions of votes for the "unelectable Bernie Sanders".

that much in common, but they both are a little bit teflon because they respond to attacks honestly without acting defensive.
