Barack had more delegates, including most of the Super delegates. Barack won the nomination. The Clintons campaigned hard for Barack. Barack asked Hillary to be Secretary of State.

That sounds like life-long Democrats honoring their Party's rules and coming together for the good of the country.

Nothing at all like 2000.

advocating for super delegates to nullify a popular vote without a regular delegate win is totally different.

The Democratic Primaries are just an internal process to determine which Democrat is the Party's nominee.

I was simply pointing out a significant technical difference between the 2000 General Election and the 2016 Democratic Primary election. One is an official Federal election, the other is an internal Party election.

and instead they went to Hillary, he would not have won and would not have been the nominee.

I supported Obama from the day he announced. If Hillary had the magic number of delegates instead, I would have happily worked my ass off to get her elected the 44th president of the United States.

Of course, I've been participating in this process for more than three decades and understand fully how it works.
