In South Carolina's Democratic primary which will be held on Feb. 27 Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders among likely voters by 28 points, 60 percent to 32 percent. That's down slightly from Clinton's 64 percent to 27 percent advantage last month.
In the current poll, Sanders leads Clinton among white Democrats, 51 percent to 46 percent. But Clinton crushes him among African Americans in the state, 68 percent to 21 percent.
Even among African Americans under the age of 45, Clinton is ahead of Sanders by 17 points, 52 percent to 35 percent.

(643 posts)It won't last, even if it's accurate. Once Sanders wins Nevada the momentum is going to carry him forward. Hillary will probably win SC but that margin is going to close. The more Bernie wins, the more coverage he gets, the more people find out that there is an honest, authentic alternative to Clinton. Time to feel the Bern.

Q's polling will show it as well, and propaganda corporate media will boast it 24/7 . . .

(24,689 posts)And if she has a big day on Super Tuesday it will probably be too much for Bernie to recover. I think we will look back on this and SC will be seen as the turning point to Hillary's nomination and ultimately her victory in November.
